Mala Necklace Dedicated to the Goddess Tanit – Symbol of Strength, Protection and Freedom
Mala Necklace Dedicated to the Goddess Tanit – Symbol of Strength, Protection and Freedom
This stunning 108 bead hand knotted Mala necklace pays homage to the Goddess Tanit , the powerful Carthaginian goddess of fertility, the moon, war and protection . Worshipped by the Carthaginians and Phoenicians, Tanit was for centuries the goddess of Ibiza , a symbol of sacred femininity, creative energy and rebirth. Her cult included rituals of dance and offerings, to obtain protection, prosperity and abundance.
The centrepiece of the necklace is a gold-plated, carved coin pendant, inspired by an ancient coin over 2000 years old (270-260 BC), depicting the face of the Goddess Tanit and the Punic legend of the flying Pegasus . This mythical winged horse, considered a bridge between the divine and the human, represents freedom, spirituality and victory , strengthening the bond with the power of the Goddess. The reproduction of the coin is made of the highest quality materials, faithfully modelled on the original preserved in the British Museum of History.
The Mala beads are interspersed and embellished with Tiger's Eye stones, a symbol of protection, courage and determination , giving the necklace a powerful energy, perfect for those who wish to connect to their inner strength.
Made in Ibiza, this creation embodies the mystery and magic of the island , making it not only a jewel, but a true talisman of energy and connection with ancient wisdom . Wearing it means carrying the power of the Goddess Tanit and the freedom of Pegasus , facing life with protection and spiritual strength.
